Luke and Angel Barnett lead Dream City Church in Arizona, which frequently hosts MAGA and extremist speakers such as fellow False Prophet Charlie Kirk. In addition to hosting “Freedom Night” services and other events with Kirk’s Turning Points USA, the Barnetts have repeatedly hosted political rallies for Republican candidates, giving fellow False Prophet ex-President Donald Trump a platform for expletive-ridden chants and spreading racist conspiracy theories. Dream City Church was also an early stop on the ReAwaken America Tour, featuring a who’s who of MAGA celebrities and January 6 insurrectionists.
Luke, senior pastor of Dream City Church, attended the 2020 launch of the Evangelicals for Trump Coalition and has publicly prayed for Trump's prosperity while villainizing Trump's supposed "enemies." He has been outspoken against Pride Month, stating he is grateful to be able to pray to Jesus Christ in spite of what June represents. Luke’s bio available for media use also notes that “he is driven by a God-inspired vision to see Arizona become known as a Christian state.”
Angel, who also serves as CEO of Dream Institute, called Trump’s survival following the assassination attempt “nothing short of a MIRACLE!!!!” – joining the chorus of voices claiming divine salvation for Trump but not for other victims of violence.
