Doug Mastriano is included on a list of 20 “False Prophets,” part of a new initiative to counter Christian nationalism’s distortion of the Gospel and its threat to democracy, equal rights and the church during the 2022 midterm season and beyond.

On November 4, 2022, Pennsylvanians and national faith leaders discussed the dangers of Christian nationalism and the inclusion of Mastriano on the list of False Prophets, which also includes evangelist Franklin Graham and former General Michael Flynn. Last week, Flynn appeared in Manheim, Pennsylvania, as a part of the ReAwaken America Tour during which he embraced the term "Christian nationalist."
